Cooking and memories ?

As I've always said Humans may be 70% water but I am 90% food. It won't be wrong to say that I live to eat 😋. But the only problem was I didn't know how to cook 🙂.

So around 6 years ago I started pestering my mom to teach me how to cook. But as most mom's would do I was denied access to the kitchen because she thought I would burn the kitchen down, well honestly speaking the skills I had at that time would probably have burned the kitchen down.

After two whole months of begging i was taught to boil stuff 😑 like tea and maggi. But atleast I got a start and gradually learnt stuff.
Earlier I only liked to eat but now I've started to love cooking too 😅. But soon a shock was awaiting me, in 2017 I lost my mom! As sad and alone I was the only thing I had was my memories of her and the taste of many maore dishes that I could never make.

So I decided to give my best to recreate her recipes and trust me it's not at all easy to recreate recipes just from your sense of taste. Some I could replicate and some were never even close. But the fact that I still enjoyed doing that made me happy 😁.

As of now I still love cooking I may not be perfect but it's something I enjoy, it's like my own personal space and of course food is there 😂.

What are your favourite dishes?? Let me know in the comments below 😃.
